Leigha Basini, Secretary

Leigha Basini was born in Jeju, South Korea. She is a division director with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, where she works to improve the U.S. healthcare system. Prior to that, Leigha held several positions in health policy and as a healthcare attorney. She has a BA from Queens University of Charlotte, a JD from Tulane Law School, and a certificate in Public Sector Leadership from Cornell University. When not working or spending time with her husband and two children, she enjoys traveling, creating art, baking, and eating Korean food.
